What is New Era Insider?
New Era Insider is our customer loyalty program that rewards our customers for shopping with New Era. Please go to the New Era Insider page for more information regarding the New Era Insider program.

What is Cap Blocking?
Cap blocking is an experience only available at New Era Flagship stores that helps to restore your fitteds. The blocking machine is a proprietary processes from New Era where customers can either have recently purchased caps shaped or bring in their New Era caps to be freshened up. The process involves steaming and forming to get the fitted back to its pristine form. Flagship locations can be found here: New Era Flagship stores

Do I need to be registered on your website to receive my New Era Insider discount for online purchases?
Yes, to receive discounts and points online, you must be registered and logged onto your account at shop.neweracap.com. You can register your card here.

Can the first discount be applied as soon as I purchase my membership to New Era Insider?
The first discount can be applied after the first item purchased. If more than one product is being purchased, the highest priced item(s) is sold at full price while the rest of the items, when eligible, are discounted.

Do I have to have my New Era Insider card with me to get my discounts in-store?
Yes. You must physically present the card when purchasing products in-store.

Can I use my New Era Insider discount for items on sale?
New Era Insider discounts can only be taken from the ticket price of items, or our permanently marked down products. The discount cannot be applied to any other sales promotions unless specifically noted in the promotion or discount.

Where do I enter my New Era Insider ID number online?
When you create an account at shop.neweracap.com/MyAccount, it will ask if you are a New Era Insider member. Click yes, and a box will pop up where you can enter in your New Era Insider ID number. If you already registered online, sign on to your account here. Go to My Account, click Account Information on the left hand side, and you can add your New Era Insider information there. You must be logged onto your account to receive any points or discounts for online purchases.

Does New Era sell or trade my personal information?
No, New Era will never sell or trade your personal information.

Can I share my New Era Insider membership with family and friends?
No, New Era Insider memberships cannot be shared.

Where can I go to update my profile?
You can update your profile by logging on here and clicking on Account Information on the left hand side of the page.

Where can I find my New Era Insider ID number?
Your New Era Insider ID number is the 10-digit number that can be found at the back of your New Era Insider card under the barcode.

What happens if I lose or misplace my New Era Insider card?
If you lose or misplace your New Era Insider card, please call our Customer Care Department and they can re-issue you another card.

If I forgot my New Era Insider card on my last purchase, can I still get my discounts?
No. You must have your card at the time of purchase.

I forgot my New Era Insider card. What do I do?
Currently, the only way you can get discounts in-store is to have the physical card in-hand when making the purchases.

Can I combine my New Era Insider discounts with any other promotions?
The New Era Insider discounts cannot be combined with any other promotions unless it is specifically noted within the promotion or discount. But even if discounts are not applicable, you still receive points on every purchase you make, so be sure to always show your card!

Insider Levels

How do I know if I have reached New Era Insider Pro status?
If you opted-in for mobile texting, you will receive a text. If you are registered at shop.neweracap.com, you will receive an e-mail regarding your status change. You can also contact our Customer Care Department and they can inform you of your status.

How can I reach New Era Insider Pro status?
To reach New Era Insider Pro status, you must earn at least 300 points within your membership year. Visit the Benefits page for more information.

What is the New Era Insider Semi-Pro level?
The New Era Insider Semi-Pro level is a limited-time offer available for all members whose Pro status have expired and choose to renew their membership. In this level, members receive Pro level benefits and only need 150 points to resume to Pro status. Visit the Benefits page for more information on the New Era Insider Semi-Pro level.

What is the difference between New Era Insider Basic and New Era Insider Pro?
Anyone who joins the New Era Insider Program begins at the New Era Insider Basic level. Any New Era Insider member who earns 300 or more points during their membership will be automatically enrolled in the New Era Insider Pro level. New Era Insider Pro members earn even greater rewards and savings than New Era Insider Basic members. These additional benefits include an extra 5% purchase savings on eligible items, priority access, and exclusive product offers. Visit the Benefits page to learn more about the difference between the New Era Insider Basic and New Era Insider Pro levels.

What if I reach New Era Insider Pro near the end of my membership? Will I lose it at my annual membership?
All New Era Insider Pro members will be eligible to join the New Era Insider Semi-Pro Level when their membership expires and they renew their membership. At this level, members get to enjoy Pro level benefits for up to 90 days and only need 150 points to get back to Pro status. You can go to the Benefits page for more information on the Semi-Pro level membership.

How can I earn New Era Insider points?
You can earn New Era Insider points for every purchase you make at New Era and online at shop.neweracap.com. New Era Insider members must be registered and logged onto their account on shop.neweracap.com to receive points and discounts. You can register your card here.

If I return a product that gave me reward points, will I still get to keep those points?
No. Those points will automatically deduct from your balance.

My last purchase did not add points to my New Era Insider account. Why is that?
For in-store purchases, it takes at least one business day for the points to be added onto your account. For online purchases, points are added when the items ship. If you still have not received points after this time, you can call our Customer Care Department and they can help you with your account.

How are New Era Insider points calculated?
You earn 1 point for every 1 dollar you spend at any New Era and online at shop.neweracap.com

Can I still earn New Era Insider points if I don't register online?
No. Currently, you must register and be logged onto your account at shop.neweracap.com to receive points for online purchases. You can register at here.

Do I earn points if I purchase gift cards?
No, points are only given to those redeeming the gift cards.

What happens to my points at the end of my membership?
All your points expire at the end of your membership. If you are at the New Era Insider Pro level and renew your membership at (or before) expiration of your membership date, you will automatically be enrolled in our Semi-Pro level. Please go to the Benefits page for more information regarding our New Era Semi-Pro membership.

Can I earn points if I refer others to New Era Insider?
At this time, you do not earn points for referring others to New Era Insider.

Do my points expire?
Yes, your points expire at the end of your annual membership. If you are at the New Era Insider Pro level and renew your membership at (or before) expiration of your membership date, you will automatically be enrolled in our Semi-Pro level. I just became a New Era Insider member. Can I receive points for prior purchases?
No, you cannot receive points for purchases prior to being a New Era Insider member.

How can I check my New Era Insider point balance?
You can see your point balance online if you registered your card at shop.neweracap.com. Point balances are also printed on all receipts. Lastly, you can call our Customer Care Department and they can give you your point balance.

How will I know when my membership, and therefore points, expires?
If you opted-in for mobile texting, you will receive a text. If you are registered at shop.neweracap.com, you will receive an e-mail. In addition, if you sign on your account at shop.neweracap.com within 30 days of your expiration date, there will be reminders on your profile page and also during check out if you are purchasing items online.

Are points rounded up or down to the nearest dollar?
The points follow standard rounding rules. For example, if your purchase is between $19.50 and $20.49, you would receive 20 points. If your purchase is between $20.50 and $21.49, you would receive 21 points.

When will I receive my points for purchases I make?
For in-store purchases, points are received one business day after the purchase is made. For online purchases, points will be received the when the item ships.

How do I become a New Era Insider member?
You can sign up to become a New Era Insider member at New Era store, online, or by contacting our Customer Care Department.

How long does my New Era Insider membership last?
All New Era Insider memberships are good for one year from date of purchase.

Can I renew my New Era Insider membership online?
Yes! You can go to here to renew your membership.

How much does it cost to join New Era Insider?
It only costs $5.00 to join New Era Insider! Benefits will begin after the first item purchase.

How do I register my New Era Insider membership online?
You can register your account here. It will ask for your New Era Insider card number and your personal information. If you already have a profile online, sign on to your profile, and click on Account Information on the left hand side of the page under My Account. You can enter your New Era Insider membership information there. The first time you register online at shop.neweracap.com, you will receive 25 points for FREE as a thank you from us!

Who can join New Era Insider?
Anyone can join New Era Insider*!

*Customers under the age of 18 may not enroll in New Era Insider in the state of Maine.

Can I enroll if I do not live in the U.S.?
The New Era Insider program is only available to those who live in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

I enrolled to become a New Era Insider member online/over the phone. How long will it take to receive my card?
You should receive your card within 5-7 business days.
